Elbow Pain

Elbow pains are common following vigorous activity. Such activities can include tennis, throwing of a baseball, and golf. Other types of repeated forceful motions can also cause this (such as washing the car or scrubbing the floor). This problem happens when your body is not used to this amount of activity. It is also known as wear-and-tear arthritis since the cartilage thins and eventually breaks down. The cartilage cushions the joints where two bones meet, so any degeneration can seriously impact our body.

Arthritis is a generalized term used to describe joint inflammation and damage. There are many different forms of arthritis with many different causes. However, all treatment should focus on decreasing inflammation of the painful areas. Treatment for arthritis is normally focused on the painful areas. Dietary changes can also help accelerate your body’s normal tissue repair.

More than 50 million adults and 300,000 children suffer from some type of arthritis just in the U.S. It is considered the leading cause disability in America.
